Painting: Interior and Exterior

Painting is my primary skill and I love it. I’ve been doing it for as long as I can remember. I picked up my passion for colors and great sense of color from my dad when he was running his family-owned painting company. This expertise starts with painting a simple wall to the entire inside and/or outside of a house, usually up to 3 stories. It also includes, among other things, re-finishing/restoration of woods such as kitchen cabinets, wood furniture and solid wood entry doors; and repairing old fashioned plaster cracks using modern techniques based on epoxy resin product for a much stronger and lasting result.

Among everything, my favorite thing to deliver is sharp corners and lines. When you enter a house and you can see great ceiling or walls corner lines between colors and accent walls, it makes the rooms visually perfect. This is an example of how much attention I give to details to provide the best.

Rough Carpentry: Framing, Fences and Decks

From protecting your house perimeter with a beautiful fence, to building a nice deck to enjoy your Bay view or sunset or spend some time outside of the house during the summer around a BBQ meal, I can build you a safe and sound structure. Such structure can be improved with a tasteful pergola for a little bit more shade. It will follow the up-to-date building code requirement and can be made from a basic pressure-treated wood to Cedar or IPE if you really want to get fancy.

I’m someone who loves to build stronger and to last, I always use the best material quality available that fits your taste and budget, and if I need to, I even go to hand-pick the material to ensure quality and aesthetic.

Tiling

I love the challenge of tiling. Whether it’s for a kitchen, a bathroom, an entry way or even an accent wall, there is a great feeling in creating a flat surface, fitting your aesthetic and sometimes bold expectations in shape and color. I can suggest choices but ultimately it will be what you want. From small to larger tiling projects, we can find you a solution to bring your dreams to life.

Plumbing

A leaky faucet or toilet can waste a lot of water. I can replace or repair fixtures and manage minor repairs. For more complicated issues including in-wall work, my licensed plumber can take care of your project.

Fine Carpentry

I already mentioned that I like building things with my hands but there is something even more rewarding: transforming a rough piece of wood into a nice, smooth piece of furniture. Oak, Cherry, Walnut (American or Peruvian), and Zebra wood are my most often-used but I can use any other type of wood/material to create the piece of furniture you want.

Electrical

Small projects include installing ceiling fixtures, adding or relocating outlets (GFCI or powering USB outlets), and replacing light switches (i.e. remote-controlled dimmer light switches).
